Paulinha is a ******, but let’s not imitate their weird obsession with Matty Cash.

Indeed. On a list of 'Fans we'd rather not be like', Spurs are pretty high up. Still not topping Arsenal fans, though (IMO).

The other way round for me.  Admittedly I live near Highbury and work in London and, from my experience, the spurs fans are awful by comparison to the arsenal fans.

Ahh, well, I pretty much only have the internet to judge, so that may have effected my opinion.

Hope it’s not true, but just heard he’s done for the season.

What is the source?

I think a lot of us are already coming to that expectation anyway.

There's been no news for over a week. I think that suggests this won't be a handful of games.

Sadly, someone that is normally a pretty good contact about injuries. Season changing news that.

If that is the case it’s terrible news. Irreplaceable, but we’ll need another midfielder.

Having Onana available on a regular basis would help a lot.

If true, and I suspect it is, we simply MUST replace him this window. Our record without him is terrible and even when back, having a genuine player that can play his role will be beneficial. Barkley isn’t up to it physically, Tielemans can’t play there, Onana can’t be depended on and is better as the player along side him rather than in place of him. Don’t piss about Villa, sort it.

So, if needs be, are you suggesting we break the rules and take the fine/points deducted route?

We need to learn a hard lesson here, as club and fans. If going well in the league and Europe there is no point risking it in the FA cup early rounds unless we have made it to Sky Six stage and have never ending riches.

FA cup for us should be a priority when other avenues to success are looking unlikely.

Such a shame we didn't rest Kamara at Spurs (and ironically won the game without him anyway)

Perhaps, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Players get injured in training too.

To get any even close to his level with 12 days is somewhat hopefull
