Will take that, as you say provided it’s a real 2-3 weeks.

Considering some clown on twitter who reckons he’s a football scout said ‘out for the season’, I’m okay with that.

Not ideal but not really terrible. He should be raring to go for the final 3rd of the season.

My cheeks actually clenched when I saw this thread at the top. Was convinced it would be full of woe. Take that all day long.

Ignoring for a second we shouldn't even be discussing this, I'll take it.

Right, on to less important things, finalising my Palhinha song for his return to Villa Park. It will probably make him cry.

He will miss…

H v Everton, we should cope.
A v Fenerbache, we should cope
A v Newcastle, not ideal
H v Salzburg, we should cope
H v Brentford, not ideal.
And maybe
A v Bournemouth, not ideal.

Hopefully Onana will make a return at some stage in the next few weeks to provide cover.

Will take that. As long as it is that, not the usual Villa style 2-3 weeks.
History says it will be at least a month.

Could have been a lot worse. So maybe back for Brentford.

If we are signing Gallagher, presumably he would be available for Newcastle game, at the latest.

Not a complete catastrophe, expected worse.

I rate Paulinha and wanted us to sign him from Fulham. Now I hope he gets food poisoning.

I hope he treads on a plug, or lego.

And bites into a donut that was a bit firm so he's warmed it up in the microwave but left it in too long.
