Scan tomorrow, ‘hopefully not a big injury’ says Unai.

Not great.

Him coming off looked precautionary. He walked off for a start, which is a good sign.

Villa players have walked off a pitch and been pronounced dead 15 minutes later. We all know what's coming here.

He walked off when he did his ACL so I wouldn't use that as a benchmark.

That’s worrying. Although this looked like an impact injury from a thug, rather than ligament damage. I’m being positive

Yeah you can walk off with serious injuries. I really hope he’s ok.

Might just be me, but when he was sitting on the pitch, i thought he mouthed to one of the physio’s ‘is it bad’?
If he’s out for a long period, it will be a bit of a disaster for our season and him personally.

He's on the brink of breaking in to the French World Cup squad, he definitely doesn't deserve any length of time out.

Vidagany saying he is praying for Bouba doesn’t fill me with much confidence. I really hope he’s ok.

I worry that our players know it'a bad one, hence what was going on at the end there.

Looked more of an impact blow to his knee, and no twisting with his foot off the floor. UE hopeful it's not too serious.

A potential season derailer if it's a bad one. Everything crossed for him.

His left leg was off the ground when impact happened and very much knee to knee/side

If his leg had been extended and planted then I’d defo be saying acl/mcl

I’m very hopeful it’s just impact/dead leg-knee.
Anything more and he’s so so unlucky

Fingers crossed caused he’s huge for us.
