I'm actually going to this one, so no doubt we'll get spanked. I apologise in advance.

Me too, looking forward to getting home at 2am if the traffic behaves itself, wouldn't want to leave early like all those other wankers.

Finishing 14th/15th would be a disgrace and owners would need to really think hard if SG should be in charge next season.

The fact that he does not play those who perform well (Buendia being one) to accommodate friends tells us all we need to know about how the future will look and how frustrated players will become

It's hard to fine one with only SIX Home wins and struggle to beat anyone in the top half of the table

We've lost more games than Burnley

No fair play, it would be absolutely delusional to think that there is the most miniscule ground for optimism that we might win a home game against a side in the bottom three who we tonked on their own ground less than a fortnight ago.

I’m concerned that if we play badly enough tonight the FA might deduct 30 points from us and we’ll go down in bottom place.

I still can't believe people are talking about this season as being 'disastrous' if we don't finish 11th.  With lots of mentions of the comparative job done by Eddie Howe at Newcastle.  But people forget that Howe followed Bruce - there was LOADS of improvement he could make - and quickly - on the previous incumbent.  Gerrard followed Smith.  And although the results have been better on the whole since he took over, he was still following a competent manager in Smith so it's not like he was going to turn us into European challengers overnight.

Tonight and Sunday won't define our season.  However it could make a big difference on where we finish and put a few extra million quid in the pot this summer, but whether we get six points, or none, Gerrard is safe and we will be planning for the summer accordingly.

Personally, I think we'll put on a bit of a show tonight, and Burnley's heads will drop when they go behind.

Sky are saying Martinez is a doubt and Tarkowski and Mee may be available for selection.
