Just discovered that fat useless bastard Jonathan Moss is the referee tonight Any chance we might have had of getting anything out of the game just disappeared Awful ref who seems to go out of his way to give things against Villa Who can forget his changing of the offside  rule to give a Manchester City player twenty odd yards offside  the ok to carry on and score He got it so wrong they even changed the rules after and he has never refereed us since

Yeah, feels like they've chosen the ref that will ensure the thrilling title race goes down to the wire. It's what the sponsors and television companies fans across the world want to see.

Not to mention last minute blatant handball at Arsenal he denied us to level up the game two years ago.  Wanker.

Of course I want us to win every game but there's a massive consolation to losing this one, in that we won't have helped hand the title to Big Oil FC

No consolation whatsoever if it means we have to put up with the Media Wankfest that would greet a Liverpool Quadruple. It's not like Man City won't win more league titles, anyway.

Liverpool have a fantastic team but hopefully many will be rested for this weekends cup final, 1-1 would do nicely.

Have you looked at the league table?

No chance of that.
I think they are more likely to rest in the final.
They will be all out to win tonight.

Well I think they'll rotate a few . Perhaps the fullbacks will be changed and Milner may get a go there or in midfield. Likes of Jota and Firmino or Origi come in. Makes game a bit more easier if they rest a few but still very tough.
I can't see them resting any players tbh they're still firmly in the hunt for the title. They will go for our throat from the off and I think they could be too hot to handle. However I do think Gerrard is showing signs of a manager who is learning his trade fast. We are a more than capable outfit and I will stick my neck out and go for a 2-2 draw at a rocking Villa Park. I'll be watching this one from my front room as I'm recovering from an operation.  Please cheer me up Villa.

All the best to you  at this time
And I would take a 2-2 that's a very good suggestion as we got the attack to cause problems but so can our defence!
Hope the game is good for us all and will bring some cheer to you.

Have a good feeling about this one, think we will get something from it. Going for a 2-1 with a goal each from Coutinho and Ings.

I’m hoping that they are tired. Fuck, it can’t be easy competing on 4 fronts this late into the season. We have to make them run and earn anything tonight

After the weekend I think Liverpool will come out of the traps flying and push right up. They will want to put us to bed early. The longer we stay in the game the more nervous they're going to get. the more chance we have of getting something It's a shame we haven't got a rapid option like Son to hit them on the counter with.

Going for a 2-2 draw.

Moss with a double for them. A third strike from Moss ruled out by VAR

Hasn't been official ref for us all season.
Interesting to note of the 23 matches this season Moss has pretty much equal in his distribution of yellow cards for home and away  teams of the ones given.
But when it comes to red cards he's given only to away teams with 4 red cards this season ,the 2nd highest.  they have all been to the away team    all second yellows

Not only that his home win percentage is 65.2% which is nearly a third of all home matches he refs the home team wins. And essentially the highest in the league as Michael Salisbury only 3 matches has higher (at 66%)

Jonathan Moss also second lowest for away teams winning at 21% when he's been in charge.

He's given 6 penalties this season 3 to home team 3 to away though last two matches he gave pens were for away teams spurs at man utd and arsenal at Chelsea

Can Moss give us something tonight?
