Too bad about the late goal. We turned off and didn’t keep a clean sheet. But it was overall a really composed display. Good performances all round. MOM Emi Buendia. Worked hard, deserved his goal. On to a very tough game vs Liverpool

Second half was a non event after we got the early goal to kill it. Disappointing mix up late on. Easy three points, enjoy the weekend, all.
Martinez 7, Cash 7, Konsa 5, Mings 7, Digne 7, Chambers 5, McGinn 7, Luiz 8, Buendia 9, Watkins 8, Ings 7. Gerrard 8.

That's a game I expected to lose, so shows what I know.

Never really in doubt, though SG will be disappointed to concede at the death.

good win - performance was decent. Would have snapped your hand off for that score  before kick off

Great afternoon and performance (*Konsa aside) and a shame about the goal at the end.

Now to follow it up with a win against Liverpool, and watch them go into meltdown up there!

Shame about the late goal, they mentioned on the radio that if we’d have kept a clean sheet, only Man City have kept more away from home since SG came in. The kind of stat that gives me a bit of hope that he might be okay.

Gerrard will be happy with the result and overall display but I am sure that late goal will really fuck him off

I am pleased Steven has put an end to the Burnley revival nonsense. Never had any doubts about today if SG picks the right team and he did.

Konsa shouldnt have been attempting to play offside anyway and Mings was asleep. Konsa had a poor game.
