No it doesn't. How many games have we won from behind

How many Burnley players would you have in our squad over ours?

Matt Lowton and Ashley Westwood.

in the squad?

Pope (bench)
Lowton (cover for Cash)
Taylor (cover for Digne)
Tarkowski
McNeill (cover for the wingers we don't play :D)
Ben Mee (so I could fine him the maximum fine then release him)
Jay Rodriguez (see above)
Westwood (probably not much worse than Luiz)

If we had any of those in our squad over what we have now, there would be a meltdown on here, Pope aside.

those are over squad players - not many first teamers. Although, whoever signs for Villa there's a meltdown :D

From what I've seen I'd have Taylor at left over Digne

Regardless of this mini revival it will be Burnley going down not Everton.

They'll get 4 points from us though i reckon.

I think they'll get 1, at best.

I hope your right, but they have a thing called fighting spirit that we haven't. If we're going to get 6 points in addition to 1 off Burnley it'll be against Norwich and Palace.

That must be why they've just won their 5th game.

Yet have lost 3 fewer than we have. We’re a better team than they are but 13 draws suggests they have a bit of fight in them.

11 wins to their 5 suggests we have a bit more fight and more quality too.

They’re fighting relegation. I really wish I didn’t have to explain what I meant to people when you’d think it was obvious, but there you go. Won 2 games recently against Everton and Southampton because they’re FIGHTING RELEGATION. You know, that thing that a few teams do every season. Fucking hell.

The club had decided they needed a change, the man they appointed has us still worrying about an outside chance of relegation after losing 4 in a row with 7 games remaining. So yes, the way football works it’s largely on him.

I'm a lot less worried about relegation now than I was after Smith's last game and as you say that's down to the manager so thanks to Stevie G.

That thing that 3 teams fail to fight every year, because they're shit, like Burnley for example? Yeah I know it.

What was your point? That "pashun" makes up for huge quality gaps? As it doesn't. Turds flush, every year. I'd like it to be Everton purely for the spectacle, but it won't be on balance I wouldn't have thought.

I'd somehow love Everton and Leeds to go - won't happen though.

We can beat them though, bloody Burnley, Brentford and Watford on the other hand. Bastard teams!

The point is that teams fighting relegation playing against flat teams that look like they’re on the beach like we do at the moment will fancy their chances. You think we’ll do better than I do and that’s fine, I’ve no problem with that but judging by the pissy little comment which isn’t relevant to the point I’m making suggests that you can’t accept someone doubting us, as shit as we are right now.
I think you’re deluded saying there is a ‘huge quality gap’ as well, although we are better player for player on paper.

I dont think we look flat. I think we looked the best we had all season in the first half against Spurs and then became Son's bunny, again as we did in October and February 20.

You're doing contortions and rolling out clichés to try and scare yourself from 0.8 points per game and 5 wins all season Burnley. The reasons for that are your own, but I think they're grossly exaggerated. They'll more than likely be relegated, as they've stunk the league out for some time.

Were Southampton on the beach when we annihilated them? Were they on the beach when they beat Arsenal the game before? Were Burnley when they lost 2-0 to Norwich?

What concerns me is that Burnley are perennial scrappers and will kick teams all over the park.  This is something we lack.  Hopefully, we beat Norwich and make the whole concerned thing go away.
