It's not often that we go up against opponents that I actually have a measure of respect for, and don't despise with practically every fibre of my being.

This isn't one of those occasions.

I'd go with;

Martinez
Cash
Chambers
Mings
Dinge

Sanson
Luiz
McGinn

Countinho
Ramsey

Ings

Ings for me simply has to start. I think if anyone can take advantage of the movement and creativity of Coutinho, Buendia, JJ it’s him. He’s a proven PL striker. He might not put in the work and distance run of Watkins but he is a brilliant finisher if you give him the chances

The pre match Leeds thread was wildly over optimistic with some of the predictions. Good to see were back to normal.

1-4
0.5

Yeah the added benefit being having Ramsey on the right in Buendia’ position is he’ll offer more protection against the full back which will allow Mcginn to protect Cash against ASM.

Who gets in for Buendia is the interesting question Danny Ings, Ashley Young,Morgan Sanson and Carney Chukwuemeka all possibilities.

I've included Sanson or though I think he's out if favour and nor fancied much by Gerrard. He was hauled off v Man Utd and hasn't been selected since
If he gets the nod to start maybe I'm mistaken but I don't think he's first choice midfielder.

Ings in for Watkins, not as replacement for EmiB.

Bailey supposed to be on the bench, but maybe he can start instead and see how long he lasts. I'd feel more confident about bringing on one of Footy-Vil's subs for Leon after 60+ mins if necessary.

Less likely but we could also go with Hause in for Konsa, Chambers in for EmiB at DM and push Luiz or McGinn up alongside Phillipe.

This is the biggest following we're taking up there in 30 odd years too.

Better mind your Ps and Qs if you're going tomorrow and remember, no criticisms of the Saudi regime. https://twitter.com/MarkydeSade1964/status/1492402174147629056

All this talk about Ings being a proven striker and our best striker and he hasn't really impressed me.

Hes had chances as well and hes fluffed quite a lot of them.

I hope he shuts me right up, but I have the feeling that it will be another game where he goes missing.
