As Roy Keane would say ‘that’s his job.’

Well yeah, but if you take that line then basically no player can ever be praised for their performance.

He was absolutely outstanding today, you could see how much it meant to him when that rebound was put in.

But only this morning you never wanted to see him again?

He needs to be moved on at the end of the season for sure . Martinez needs saving for the Liverpool / Palace games which are huge.

Well done Robin - best way to respond to the boo boys is to shove it back down their throats

Who has been booing him at the matches then?  That's a new one.

Criticism on internet messageboard  >  real life.

Also "shove it back down their throats" like he's had tons of unwarranted criticism.

I'd hope his performance today has silienced a few. Sure, he's not the world's number one, and that won't be good enough for some.

He's shown himself to be a very competent goalkeeper.

Excellent performance, voted Motm, great goalkeeper.

Rest of the team, questionable.

Steady on.

He's getting valid credit for having a decent game, not getting the golden glove award...

Though I broadly agree I do notice this use of the word 'decent' sometimes obscures things unfairly. He had a fantastic game.
