Sanson has been good to be fair to him. Ramsey has struggled and Luiz has been anonymous.

Luiz always looks like he is playing within himself. Taking it nice and easy.

Not tracking. Not giving it too much.

Have we ever won one of these Saturday evening games?

Looks like Konsa will not be coming back.

Hause getting on the end of a corner worked a few months back.

Manure have been surprisingly good, Greenwood and the chappy on the left in particular.
Sanson looked sharp although he gave away a stupid free kick which led to the Martinez clusterfuck.

What's happened to our pressing game? We are letting them ping it about at will.
Some positive signs late in the half.  More goals in this game for sure.

Also liked seeing him gee up his teammates when United conceded possession.  He looks up for it.  But I do think we're missing meatball in there.

I'm 37. I cannot believe that Danny Ings isn't at least 20 years older than me. Very very tough paper round.
Still think we should loan him out until he gets up to speed.

Gerrard has Luiz incredibly deep, I think to try and release Digne up the left and shift Mings over.

Or swap him for a bag of apples?

Not a good half, but I'm genuinely surprised how deep Man Utd are getting once we get the ball. After one corner in the first half all 11 players sprinted back into their own half - no pressing, get back and set the shape. They seem happy to let us have possession in the middle third, which generally means you need someone to beat a player to break the lines.  If only we had someone on the bench capable of such witchcraft...
Think they know exactly how we’re going to play

Poor system and predictable at the moment.
Too slow and not enough energy and drive from midfield
Hoping better second half .
Its like the team like everyone else exist waiting for Coutinho

Come on Villa

Ings and Watkins both still on then?

We can forget about getting back into this.

The thought of both Hause and Mings fucking around at the back with the ball fills me with dread.
