This ref is a right gormless twat as well.

It’s not remotely his fault today.

Man ure are actually playing very well - I knew reports of their demise were premature. Villa’s lack of urgency given how much we hate them is a disgrace.

I knew reports of us suddenly looking the dogs bollocks under Gerrard were also premature. We look shit and on course to lose 4 in a row.

Deano got sacked for losing 5 in a row.
It is not a case of 5 games lost and you're sacked. Dean had shown tactical limitations for a while before the inevitable happened. Steven Gerrard is showing.er, ...

Yup. For all the hard talk we're still garbage. Absolute bumsmell.

Now this is Buendia's best game of the season, only one setting the tempo for us.

Get Countino on second half a.s.a.p.

Because we've still neglected the midfield. More attacking players and fullbacks, great, but our midfield 3 are barely average at this level. Stop fucking around with attackers and wingers and get a centre mid in.

At last a bit of sustained possession and pressure in their half.

We’re missing Nakamba.

Our run of results has come with him out of the team.

Problem is we’re crowbarring players into positions that don’t really suit them.
