Similar result to August 1995 - 3-1 (not sure which team will score the 3)

This is the fucking game. For the first time in 26.5 years I'll walk back out of Villa Park having seen us beat these twats in the league. It's happening.

I think we're vastly superior in the midfield with our pressing, passing and mobility and without their best player, McTominey, I think they'll be even weaker.

Gerrard to have them fired up, the crowd to be fired up, early goals and we run them over like a fucking train.

Martinez

Cash
Konsa
Mings
Diane

Dougie
Ramsey
Sanson

Countinho
Buendia
Watkins

Smash these fucks into next week.

Diane.

Love the new nickname.

My concern is that if  / when we lose that is 4 on this spin and the feel good factor of SG will be slipping away

We need to win this for that reason not just because of the cheating cnuts we are playing are owed it

I do actually fancy us. VAR is aware of all the flack they've got so being a completely biased system that reacts to public opinion rather than the decisions presented I don't think they're gonna give Man U anything iffy. 2-1.

I suspect they may not be as poor again, and we didn't win when we dominated them (VAR accepted). So although we should have extra motivation to win, that needs to be channelled properly as it won't be enough to win on its own.

I've read a few posts recently containing the phrase 'methinks'.

Do we not have mods anymore?

Don’t see either of our new signings starting.

Heart says we'll finally smash that Man Yoo hoodoo, head says it'll be another dubious decision or a smug Ronaldo injury time equaliser/winner.

Spot on as usual by Ads.

"Sometimes it only takes one person from outside to destroy a beautiful love affair" is clearly a reference to the 'People's Princess' and Camilla Parker Bowles.

The back four will be deeper and the offside trap goes out of the window, as Diane holds the line like a candle in the wind

We did alright the other night but still came up short. I'd take s point in truth. Preferably not as a result of a last minute equaliser from them.

They haven’t just been bad against us, losing to Wolves 1-0, a lucky draw against a pretty awful Newcastle side, there will be other recent games I’ve no doubt missed.
But this is just as much about us, although there is a reasonable gap in league position and points, do you believe they are that much superior to us across their main 11. With the addition of our two new signings i honestly don’t.
