Aston Villa vs VAR pre-match thread
« on: January 12, 2022, 07:34:19 PM »
Saturday 15th January, kick off 17:30.

I think it is time for the thread now. As good a chance as we've had to end this dreadful run against them.

Going for 2-1 Villa.

FTF.

McGinn suspended but two of their "hard men" are out in Shaw and McTominay.

Coutinho arriving, a 5.30 kick-off and Villa Park still seething after Monday so should be a good atmosphere as we give them a long overdue smashing that even VAR can't save them from. FTPF!

Meatball out might be a blessing. He's not fluid enough sometimes when we try and transition forwards quickly. Get Sanson in for him.

Oldest thread in the world here, but I hate this lot so much if Blues are playing them, I want Blues to win. Please please smash these horrible corrupt barstewards out the park.

We have to be better in terms of not giving the ball away cheaply, concentrating for 90+ minutes at the back and be more ruthless up front.
But I still have serious doubts it will be decided fairly.

Had a nose into one of their forums called Red Cafe. I was amazed how many of them think they're going to lose. Some saying they will get battered. Hope they're right of course but they must know from donkeys years of playing us at VP they always find a way to beat us though more recently its more through the help of biased officials as opposed to them battering us legit. One sad little blue nose on there begging them to beat us idiots. I don't know whether to laugh at them or pity them sometimes.

Sansom                      Ramsey

Buendia      Watkins        Coutiniho

If all signed in time and fit enough, this is the team id go for. If Coutiniho cant last the whole game, id rather he started and went off than other way round. Its going to be noisy and lively from the start on Saturday and he’ll be a major part of this.
If we make the most of the atmosphere and start quickly, i honestly think we can batter this lot.
3-0 (Watkins, Beundia, Coutinihio).
