I would rather have seen a 5 man midfield as Ings/Watkins isn't convincing. Play Morgan in there to settle things down and keep the ball.

Agree, I'd probably have gone 4-4-1-1 with Sanson in and Ings on the bench but I've never won a Champions League.

I guess he felt he couldn't drop Ings after a great goal at Brentford while Ollie has hit the ground running under Gerrard.

Why have we got two goalkeepers on the bench?....surely there's a youth teamer who'd benefit from the match day experience, and I am aware that the youth team have played this afternoon. Perhaps Steer has got a knock or maybe Sinisalo is a cat at penalty kicks!

GOOD.

One of the things that has pissed me off over the years is managers putting out weakened teams at Villa for the cup games. We aren't a club with the strength to do that.

FULL STRENGTH AND END THE DROUGHT PLEASE.

Really can't call this one and I'll be gutted if we go out. Please do it for us Villa.

I think Fred McTominay used to be a regular in my dad's local, and Fernandes Greenwood was a lad at my school who'd never met his dad.
