Lindelof is shit. So is Dalot. Plenty to get at in that line-up

And Shaw.

No Ronaldo or Sancho is a definite plus but means the refs will have to work extra hard for them tonight.

FTMF! I'm nonplussed by the inclusion of Ings and Watkins together, but you know, Steven Gerrard is this ace manager who tells his players to listen to what they are told and execute their instructions as the coaching team know what the fuck they are doing. So we are going to funeral these plastic ******!

Hold on to your seats! Give the 'wankers'! And 'beat the traffic' ! Bingo!!

Nice to see that we’ve gone stronger than we did against Liverpool last season anyway ! 😂

Happy with the team, happy there's no Ronaldo, happy there's no Trez in the squad, let's hope I'm happy when the ref blows the final whistle

Need to get into them immediately. None of this 20 minutes of them having the ball bollocks and then we start playing. Make it fucking hard from the start. They all fucking hate each other right now and the fans are well pissed off with everything. Push them back and the crowd will be against them quickly.

Just read that Michael Oliver is the ref tonight. He shouldn't be allowed to ref a Villa game, the man's an absolutely useless twat.

Oh no.

Well I think people choose to ignore my very astute observations about rather predictable and pedestrian cautious approach and I'll observe and leave it there till we get Digne and Coutinho in. Far more effective players than what we have for this current system which is only going to struggle and not have final ball provided , creativity or much shot at goal based on performances past. We have a goal in us not much else.

Far more hopeful next Saturday than tonight based in everything I've seen thus far. Fernandes will be a menace without Nakamba tonight not sure how we can stop him running the show so expect him to score.
I hope I'm totally wrong like majorly wrong.
And hold my hands up if I've been mistaken from what I've seen against Man City , Liverpool and Chelsea.
And no more peep from me till next week let us keep dream for a few more hours.
Up the Villa.

yeah I think they've gone with a "Players that don't want to leave" XI. Deffo need VAR's help.

The bench is weak. Can't see any game changers there but our kids could do us proud tonight if needed.

Anyone know if the game is being shown in Australia?

Looks as if Kayo has it available only on replay at 11pm tonight via a coupla plastics commentating for MUTV, this might be a different time on Foxtel. Optus only doing league games. Reckon in previous years I’d seen FA Cup ties on Kayo.

Mate it's a match thread. Not really the place to have an in-depth discussion.
