Surely this would have been a good time to have all the European internationals around this point and not the stop start

situation we have through the Autumn .  Maybe even the South Americans could have followed suit ?
I think FIFA need one calendar for international tournaments, maybe even all fixtures.
Presumably timed to suit Europe and damn the rest of the world?

Absolutely not ,but have international windows at the same time  for everybody that includes all continental tournaments

Bertrand should be considered in a more central role for Villa, as well. He’s a natural finisher..

I did watch him stand on the shoulder of the last defender then streak away from him and think that there may be an option there we haven't really explored.

When we first signed him, there was some talk about him being a potential cover in case Olly ever got injured, but it's never really happened.

Bertrand scores and then looks like he did a lap of the track after - https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12523805/bertrand-traores-composed-finish-for-burkina-faso

I’m just encouraged that he’s fit enough to do a lap of the track.
