Restricted view tickets
« on: January 26, 2022, 09:07:52 AM »
Are the restricted biew tickets at the front of sections just the handrails?

I want to take my daughter to the Watford game (she's 16 but first time she's shown interest).  I'd rather the Holte (and move my ST for one match) but no pairs available.  Was looking at Witton upper towards the Holte.  Theres a two seats on the second row - will the handrail be too much of an issue for a 5ft 3 oompa lumpa?

Restricted view tickets are in high demand at St Andrew's!

I sat in the front row of the Trinity with my lad for the last match, I picked seats that were the only ones in the row that weren't restricted and that was because it was just in between the handrails. To be fair I'd have been a tad irritated with a restriction so close.

It's probably due to the raised section of barrier at the bottom of the steps down the front section of the upper; they are quite a bit higher than the barrier in front of the front row.  You can see them on the picture linked below if you zoom in.

The rail down the middle of the steps might also come into play.

I’ve sat there a couple of times and it’s annoying at the beginning but you soon adjust. It’s a good view of the game overall from there.

I had a similar view from the Upper Trinity for the Brighton game. It was a mild irritation rather than an outright annoyance, having to lower or raise my head occasionally. Not a lot happened n the game so may be an issue for a humdinger!

Thanks all, Ive decided to sit nearer the back.

Even with a membership it's impossible to get two seats together in the Holte.
