I think the Coutinho factor will be a big boost to the players and going for a Villa win 2-1, which would probably be the first time we've ever won twice in a season at OT.

1919-1920.

Won up there in the league in December, won up there in the 3rd round in January and went on to win the Cup.

Winning at OT twice in a row?

Can’t see it happening. We’re not due a win there for 10 years.

The heart says we will win and go on to lift the cup like it does every season, the head also says we will win 1-2.

I had a dream in the week that we got to Wembley. To be honest the dream was more about the arrangements to get there and what I was packing in my bag for the trip rather than any glorious victory on the pitch but it's something to cling to I guess.

Having said that I also had a dream, about 10 years ago or so, that we were playing West Ham in the FA Cup final so it's probably a load of old shit. Like most dreams.

I don't feel us winning this unfortunately I'm yet to fully trust Gerrard taking the game to a team away from home with a reputation of Man Utd.
That's the feeling.
Wondering if the full backs will get forward. Wondering if our final ball will be good enough. Wondering if it's only a set piece that will give us a goal.

Certainly can take this game to penalties  then anything can happen.

But to me Villa can win this with the right approach in 90 minutes and a bit of luck.(as we often have bad luck Vs Man Utd)
We'll see nice periods of play and possession but will we see much genuine attacking threat and shots at the goal.
Knowing it's a one off tie Gerrard could well set out to be solid and not concede chances being difficult to break down and win 1-0
That sort of tactic could mean have to soak up a lot of pressure. And that's not wise. So should never be bringing that on though Gerrard seems to encourage it
Can also see us having one excellent half of football and one not as good.

The things I want to see is attacking intent and goals by villa
It's a cup tie and this man utd defence isn't the greatest. Let's have a go.
And a consistency throughout the match of playing well and making good possession count.
Only against Norwich have we done that so far and they are the worse team in the league.

I've just seen a photo of those wanky, cringy Theatre of ****** Adidas-branded tickets. I scoff, piss and fart in their general direction.  Money-machine, revenue-generating, monetisation-specialist wankers!

Jokes aside, I think it's poor from the Club for fans to be receiving tickets for an away game in Manchester on the day of the game (at best!!)

That is when they will get their penalty.

61st minute.

That is when they will get their penalty.

Even if he saved it you know they'd find his left big toe was half an inch over the line and make it be taken again.

Or give another in the 93rd minute.

We should have a guess the minute when they get their penalties.
