Always a bit of trepidation going to play this lot irrespective of how they are performing. Mainly because we have provided them lots of happiness over many years. But we won there last time out and deservedly so no reason to fear them. And the pressure will be all on them so we have to start fast and get the crowd nervous which will affect their players. I absolutely think we can win this.

2-0 to us. Watkins and Konsa

I have to go with the narrative that they've had a terrible result, been a huge media backlash aimed at their players and its us turning up to play them  >:( 3-0. Ronaldo 2, Fernandes pen.

The team that lines up for this will reveal a bit more about the manager and his intentions, with the next game all but a week away I can't see any reason why we can't put out our strongest line up (injuries and Covid aside). Should we do that we can certainly progress but we still need to play very well, as bad as Newton Heath were the 3 day week mob were excellent.

"Giving it the full gun" - 2-1

"One eye on the league" - 0-2

It can't be a draw, can it? I thought third round replays had been scrapped due to Covid.

Love us to beat these - but we will score first and lose 3-1 (the BBC will be delighted that we have lost)

This may sound a little odd, but I'm never bothered by us playing Man Utd, the team. My concern is always the officials.

Doesn't sound odd to me. Throw in their latest helper VAR and i'm surprised we're bothering to turn up.

You're right. They removed the draw from 3rd and 4th rounds this year. I missed that. I think a mod has to amend the poll. Not that it really matters as we are winning it anyway in regular time. Fuck Man U.

Some garbage in the media that they have 17 players unhappy with Rangwick and lack of game time. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re allowed to start them all.

This is going to be a humdinger. It will have everything- penalties, red cards, serious injuries and a narrow win for us. 2-1.
All goals will be from defenders.

A legendary game that will often be referred to.
