Man Ure and us. 1. 1992-93- Fergie time against Wednesday. Denied us a title more or less.2. Signing Yorke in 1998 when we were genuine title challengers.3. Signing Bosnich in 1999 only to bin him soon after.4. The 2002 FA Cup tie when we conceded three late goals to lose 2-3.5. The 2010 League Cup final when we were cheated by corrupt officiating when Vidic was not sent off. 6. The 2-2 at Villa Park in 2010-11 when we again lost the lead late on after a terrific performance.7. Them signing Young. 8. The home game in 2012-13 when we again lost a lead. 9. The away game in 2012-13, Van Persie hattrick.10. Red nose pointing at his fucking watch on multiple occasions. 11. So many FA Cup third round games.12. When we got relegated in 2016 it had to come at their place. 13. Tonight's corruption.C**ts.
We've just played two crap teams and lost. And why are we down in 13th place with the players we have. Have we really got the 13th best squad in the Premier league. I don't think so.

I don't think so.I think we can rant justifiably about Oliver and VAR; we have had some VAR decisions go our way but it doesn't make the one last night any better. However, this is a relevant point. We have dominated the last two games against poor opposition and we have still managed to lose both with defensive frailties and a lack of finishing, and not solely from the forwards. With Watkins not firing and the other main goal contributors from last season either gone or on the fringes of the squad, we have a clear goal deficit and the midfield isn't stepping up with enough goals given the amount of chances.

We needed a point to finish 5th above Newcastle and get into the UEFA Cup. We should have had two penalties but of course didn't, and then had two goals disallowed, one for a Man U player running into one of his team mates and knocking him over with a Villa player nowhere near.
Listened to the 1874 podcast the other day. I am so fed up of Greg Evans and his general negativity. I gave up listening in the summer when it was clear that he was foaming at the mouth to see Joe leave to the highest bidder. This past week, with the signings of Coutinho and Digne, I have binged a lot of Villa content and thought I'd have a crack at 1874, love Bardell and the new presenter Holly is a refreshing voice.I lasted 8 minutes before Evans reminded me of exactly why I stopped listening in the first place.Speaking about the transfer of Coutinho, the conversation went something like this...Bardell: Obviously a different player but would you say this is the closest we'll get to a Grealish replacement?Evans: (sighs) How many more times are we going to say this? This is the fourth player they've brought in and so far none of it has worked.I understand being rational, but this is negativity for the sake of it. Not only that, but you were desperate for him to leave. I get it, he's a baggies fan... But there's really no point in him being on a Villa podcast, or reporting on the club at all, when he's always got such a downer on Villa. How many of us would love to do his job? Where it seems to actively get under his skin to see us doing well?

Evans is an Albion chinless wonder
