Too sloppy in our defensive positions.

Gaps all over the place, not tight enough on their midfield and forwards.

Lethargic going forward, no snap or spark.

However, we've had several opportunities that we failed to put away and on the balance of play should have taken all 3 points.

Nothing on the bench to change the game.

5 kids and Trez coming back from injury tells a story.

Our squad needs improving both in terms in both ability and depth.

Absolutely pathetic by Trezeguet then.

Traore was the wrong choice today. Need to address this still…

Missed Watkins energy too.

Hause shocking.

Argh

Trez should never play for the club again. Not only embarrassing but we're on the attack in the last kinute while losing

Don't want cheats playing for Villa. Revolting.

We have to accept, we are a mid-table side with many mid-table players.  Several aren't good enough and we need to build under Gerrard. We are our own worst enemy.  Slow and ponderous going forward, over-play in dangerous areas.  Not enough quality.
I agree to this: When accepting things as they are its easier to live with it :)

We were comfortably on top until they scored. Even in the 2nd half Brentford did little but we didn't create enough with too many players being ineffecrive. We were poor and they were worse and we still lost.

Trez's moment was laughable. He must know the camera will spot him.  If he'd stood up he'd still have had the ball in the area.
