I think Cash gets more stick than he deserves.  He is a bit limited but solid enough.  The only thing that drives me a bit mad is when he shoots from weird angles. The other thing is that he rarely stops a cross coming in but that’s more to do with the way we set up so narrowly (it’s the same with Digne). 

Selling another player to a team looking to finish around the European places would seem stupid if we’re not getting a better player in.

Konsa fills that role a lot better and is less prone to give the ball away in critical moments.

Why doesn't Emery play him there then?

When Cashy joins his next club I won't begrudge him when he says "It's great to have license to get forward now cos my attacking instincts were curbed for years ".

He did, and now he has reverted to Rash for some reason.

💯 For a former winger his use of the ball, often in great positions, is/was really poor.
