The way some of our support go on, you think quite a lot played like Pele on a Sunday morning,if Emery got I problem with him I am sure he tell him,I don't like the charging forward and cutting back, but I did notice sometimes against Fulham he did it, but it would help if certain players would get up the pitch quicker and into position

I’msure I read somewhere , and apologies I can’t recall where , but the cutting back he frequently does is an instruction from Emery.

Can't fault his effort or commitment, but he's not very good, is he?

Although after the mistake and red, he did get in some good blocks and contributed at the back.

Odd take. Not sure what he did especially wrong today?
Not saying he was especially good but we looked a week behind in terms of sharpness today.

Yeah, I'm definitely in the "replace" camp, but thought he did alright when we went down to 10.

I didn't just mean today, but today was pretty typical (including the gutsiness with 10 men).

I thought he was doing ok before that pass. We need a RB or someone to challenge Cash.

Quite, I’m not Matty Cash’s biggest fan but really. Shit cross, Newcastle pounced and hit us really hard in transition which we defended spectacularly badly. Fair play to the lad for putting himself in the line of fire after that though he defended very well to help us secure a point.

Sanity.. it does exist!

Harvey Barnes did absolutely nothing today and Cash did well when we went down to ten. We have WAY bigger issues regarding today’s performance than a RB helping keep a clean sheet with a backup goalie in net.

havent we been looking for a RB for a while now so obviously Unai wants better but with the PSR etc it wont be happening soon .  He is fine as a back up but does wind me up with his final ball , its not good , blocking etc is his job .

Not really. He hasn’t been good enough for 2 years.

That was my take as well!
Defensively very good, offensively not so good (but nobody was any good offensively)
