re Man United and Munich, I remember we played them a few years ago and a paper plane was thrown from our end towards their keeper in the warm up.

Their forums were alive with people claiming it was all a reference to Munich.

Re the Preston question. I live near Preston and asked a friend who commentates on them for local radio, he'd never heard of this story.  He knows the club historian and will ask him, I shall update when and if I have feedback.

My Preston supporting mate hasn't heard of it though.
