Vill never win at Man U, and I never win bets. I also got to take the piss out of my two Man U supporting mates all the way home in the car.

According to the Beeb, Yanited had 28 shots ,3 on target.28?????

Stats I've seen agree.
They had 28 efforts on goal, 4 of which were on target.
We only had 7, with 3 of those on target.
But the best stat was that of those, they had only four from inside the box. So did we.
Also, they created 21 'chances', but none of those were 'big' chances. We created fewer (that figure escapes me now) chances, of which 2 were considered 'big'. We're efficient and organised.
Edit: d'oh, I'd still got the tab open! 5 chances, we made overall. Not many, but the two big ones really were exactly that. Should've buried both.

A gracious Man Utd mate of mine said we deserved to win, we had the desire, organisation and looked the sharper team. I had to agree with him.

They're saying that Watkins is in an offside position and interfering play (ie getting in De Gea's way). He definitely was, when the corner was taken. However, you can't be offside from a corner so he could only be offside once Hause touches the ball. When Hause touches the ball, he is no longer interfering with play, so it's a perfectly fair goal and Solsjkaer is a bitter twat. I notice he didn't question the decision not to send Maguire off.

I laughed when they got their pen, I thought it was just typical of our luck. I laughed even more when he missed. Really good solid performance, kept a certain player mainly quiet and could have had three. As hard as they all worked, McGinn and Cash were both immense.

What a fucking day! Great performance, great result, made all the sweeter by winning £320 on two bets. A tenner on Villa to win 1-0 and a tenner on it being a draw at half time and Villa winning at full time! Was sat in the prawn sandwich seats with the Mancs and they were streaming for the exits long before the final result!

Congrats mate.

Villa just looked a threat as much and more what ever the stats say.
Targett and Ramsey  were the 2 big chances. Both fluffed when both should have scored. That falls to one of our attacking wide forwards or Ings / Watkins goal. Konsa had a big chance with a header over too. Perhaps that was measured one more than Ramsey chance who didn't actually shoot the ball just kinda went to pieces with a slip.

Though that's one issue with this formation the attack. On how to be getting the best out of Watkins and Ings in attacking areas. Another is  having Matt Targett as some sort of attacking outlet on the left
At the moment he's taking up space and did him self no favors missing the best chance of the match and continued failure in any attacking sense

And of course the attacking players Traroe , Bailey and Buendia fitting in with wing backs

Yeah offside query but would've been ridiculous to chalk it off as De Gea had clear view of the ball when Hause headed it.

Think a replay also showed last touch came off Mings in build up to the corner but blimey if there's one team in last 25 years we deserve run of the ball against it's that lot.

Enjoy (also watch Martinez after the miss!)

I love how all the twonks got their phones out to record the actual height over the bar it went. You didn't actually realise how fucking bad that penalty was. 2 metres over it seems from that angle.

Like a few others on here avoided the game and found out the score after the final whistle. Absolutely elated that we beat that scum team/management/supporters.
It's great again that we kept a clean sheet and Dean and the coaches seem to be getting the tactics spot on.
Emi Martinez is an absolute legend.
Really pleased for Hause, who I've thought has been unlucky to have lost out to Tuanzebe in some of the recent matches.
I don't normally watch motd, but may make an exception tonight just to see a great historic win.
As for the mancs what a salty bunch of ungracious plastic wznkers. UTV!
