Ok, what else shall we talk about before the game? The weather? How you getting there? Where you watching it? Where you going for breakfast?

To be fair, it's quite a conundrum trying to put this team together, I find it quite interesting. For two years now our team has pretty much picked itself.

As for the weather, it might be quite wet!

Who do you think you are, a meteorologist?

Told you it would rain today! My meteorological training took over 90 seconds to make that guess.

When will it stop raining? I want to walk the dogs!

Monday.

You didn't specify which Monday.

Want to be positive but think a loss. Fans fighting on here calling each other names, panicked calls to WM and 4 horses riding through perry Barr.

Can't make today's match and I've tried to re-sell my seat (on my season ticket Villa digital account), but the the only match showing for re-sale is for next week's Brentford match (which I can make).

Anyone more familiar with the system know how to bring up today's match on the digital account or is it too late for this match?

I'm sure someone on here would gladly buy it from you. Maybe post on the Tickets forum and meet at the Villa Lesiure Centre with a claret carnation in your lapel.

Steve Bruce weather, today.

It's going to be a real horrible one isn't it to use one of his many post match tedious match analogies. Edit: Feck off Eamonn. (wink).

Really could do with goal in opening 20 minutes. Then Newcastle will open up a bit, Holte end will give more confident back and hopefully we'll just look a better team.

Luiz at the ground so he's starting I reckon. Wouldn't shock me if Hourihane is involved at some stage aswell as Newcastle actually one of the prem teams he looks decent again with their non pressing. And we'd at least get some decent set pieces.

At least we got the "undefeated" monkey off our back nice and early this year.

Important that we get a result too kick start our campaign after a shambolic pre-season.

Ahem. We don't drink in Town.
All the Villa drinking in Town are not drinking in Town. Like me. I'm not here.
In Town.
