Villa Park
Saturday 21 August  kick off 3:00PM

Yes that rare opportunity to watch a match at Villa Park on a Saturday at 3. Really looking forward to it. Let’s hope Dean and boys are up for it.

We will win 3-1 and the world of Aston Villa will be a happier place.

If we cant beat Newcastle who will in my opinion will finish just outside the relegation places, then serious questions will need to be asked about Dean and his future

I'm going for a win because first game back in front of crowds etc.. will hopefully pull us through and Newcastle still seem pretty shit as per usual although i'm guessing Nan's hair has probably spent all week working on the defence and 10 men behind the ball tactics after West Ham. 2-0

I have a bad feeling about this one. Football is back at a full excited Villa Park, a new season filled with high expectations, a new future with new signings to look forward to watching…the perfect recipe for disaster. Maxima is going to tear Targett a new arsehole, Wilson will get a few tap ins and we’ll feel stick to our stomach watching fat shirtless Geordies spilling on to the pitch in celebration.

0-2

1-1.... Late equaliser after an early goal for them, followed by Bruce parking then on the edge of their own box.

Really important to win the game. Intensity must be up a hell of a lot.

As pessimistic about last Saturday as I was I'm certainly more optimistic about this one.
I think people underestimate the impact of a packed Villa Park in full voice, just look at the Everton game for evidence. Mind you we have to rely on the team as well, but I'm hoping Watford was enough of a kick up the arse for us to get the points.

2-1

If Saranyu and SeattleVillain still believe in us I'd hope we funeral the Toon whilst holding on to our seats.

Yes because after being one of the players of the season last season and knocking on Englands door, Targett after one game this season is now shite. FFS

Don't even think about not winning this one, Villa. Should be the first of three wins in eight days, no pissing about, please.

As an aside, I thought we had agreed that "tearing someone a new arsehole" was homophobic shite?

It is going to be a horrible one. For Fistface. 3-1 to us after going behind.

Whatever happens, I would like to see an end to our defence playing socially-distanced, slow-motion tiki-taka for 5 minutes then hoofing it over the midfield each time they have to bring the ball out.
