Wilson said a fine thing in his Graun piece, that what MacPhee does so well even among the setpiece sorcerors is somehow work space in these ridiculously congested situations. Those other coaches (Nicolas Joder et al) are all about those rotating blocks and cutoffs and impedings and all that - MacPhee's doing something different, manipulating the oppo to make room for a shot. It's remarkable work really, and you love to see it.

It was redeployed from (I think) the Young Boys CL game last season. Whichever game it was, there was a short corner, followed by an SJM cross to Youri, who was in the space created by drawing the defenders to the near post, and YT finished with similar aplomb.
