Yes, obviously it's subjective. But he was very much an "off the bench" option until the City game, wasn't he?

He was our best player in the season where we qualified for the Europe's top tier European competition for the first time in 41 years. I don't think it's overegging.

he’s a moments player and he had some great moments especially in the timescale you mention but never consistently good enough for me

A bit like Guessand, he did himself no favours my hugging the touchline with no space to move into. Maybe Unai wants it that way but again like Guessand, it was like playing with 10 men.

It’s only his second game back and by the time he come on we was already pretty awful. It wasn’t a great cameo, but come on, by that point it was backs to the wall defending.
