I have watched that step over about 20 times - a real thing of beauty.
If he gets in that position and gets and opportunity on that left foot - boom

I read somewhere yesterday he has, and I'm going off memory here, the highest goal contributions (G&A) per 90 mins played in the league at 1.6. I think Nunez was next at...I'm going to say 1.57.

I might be making all that up, but he was definitely top of something impressive sounding.

Yep he's at 1.59 just ahead of Nunez on 1.58 however whether he's top or not really depends on what criteria you use to stop outliers.

If you just include everyone then he's only 3rd for us with Duran and Ramsey both ahead.

You can find all the stats for it here - https://fbref.com/en/comps/9/stats/Premier-League-Stats - but they use a qualifier of a minimum of 30minutes per game the team has played (so currently they remove everyone who has less that 270mins) and on that measure Bailey is excluded alongside both of them.

I read the same thing - with the caveat that they needed to have started more than one game. Nunez had 1.58

If you extend to the top five leagues in Europe he's fourth, behind Serhou Guirassy (2.11), Harry Kane (1.71) and Abdon Prats (1.61).

He looks good as an impact player.  He offers a great deal running at tired defenders but lacks some game intelligence.  Straight shoot out between him and Bertie only has one winner,

Watch his run again for the 3rd goal tonight, could easily have gone offside - I guarantee Watkins would - but instead cleverly angled his run just enough to ensure he got in behind the defender.  Great game from Leon.

Delighted for him. Not many players have come back from the crowd turning on them (as they had by the end if the season before last). He's more than a decent option to have in the right game.

Another example of not writing off a player too soon.

He looks like the 30 million player so no money wasted on him , he is getting better , even away from home.

And he loves it at the Villa  give him a contract now.
