It’s a no from me, unless a different system sparks something that we haven’t see yet.

Bingo.

What a performance by this guy today! A wonderfully taken goal, a lovely cross for Ings' first and what a run for Watkins goal. More of the same please Leon!

Yes indeed. Noticeably low volume of posts on thi sthread after a week of saying that he's not good enough.  He was everything we want to see in the first half, decisive, direct a goal and an assist.  It would be nice to hear from some of you that have been saying he isn't capable of those performances...

Bailey critic here. His performances have been 95% shit this season and his ability to lose the ball non stop from the slightest defenders touch marked him out as unsuitable for this league. Today was 180 degree about turn. I can't say any more really as this one performance doesn't negate what has come before and what's come before doesn't render this one worthless. All I wills say is that he was the fulcrum of the attack today and I loved it.

@ aj2k77  Everyone of our team has been rubbish until today except for the occasional moment.  Today we had a team performance and with faster build up play Bailey wasn't running at a midfielder and a defender, the majority of players struggled when double marked.  The difference largely was that we got back to front in less than 5 passes that allows players such as Bailey to do the work he needs to 1 on 1.  Let's not argue too much today though, please.... because I'm busy basking

Obviously did well today, but has been pretty woeful before that, including a shocking performance on Thursday night.

Pleased for him today though and I don't think there are too many on here who don't want our players to do well, particularly ones who we pay a lot of money for.

He’s clearly very talented, give him the platform to show it and he will create and score.

I had given up on him after Thursday, but delighted to be eating humble pie tonight, the boy's got talent no question.

He looked miles better on the left. When he's on the right, the defender can just show him inside every time and it slows us down. Today he pinged that brilliant ball in for Watkins that went behind the Brentford defence. He wouldn't have been able to do that with his right foot, I don't think.

That's today and Everton on his CV. Both the sensational performances of a man with serious ability. I really, really, really hope he has whatever else it is that's required to churn that out consistently.

agreed - when on the right he has to slow it down to cut inside. A proper left winger.

That's football, a 1/10 at Fulham and a goal after a few minutes today. Similar enough goal to the one he got v Citeh. Has to kick on now. The extra body in midfield should free him up a bit.

That left foot is like Thor's hammer when the ball's rolled across.
