He's still got a good hit on him, his shot in the first half from outside the box was encouraging.
True, although El Ghazi can do that and scored reasonably regularly, and he has been deemed to be surplus to requirements. Also even he tracked back better than Bailey does.

This is it for me: I can forgive the tracking back if he's absolutely ripping the opposition a new one . Can't see it personally.

At times we expect too much. His first game was an eye opener he was that good, since then like so many of our newer players he gets injured and has a fair time out. Without injuries it takes time for players to adapt to the speed of the premiership so i would advocate for patience and see how he goes with a full pre season.

Of course he needs time, at Wolves he was very quiet. I hope he becomes a very good player, but at the moment, if I was manager, he wouldn’t start on Saturday

True. I'd also add that Gerrard had to plan his team without wingers due to injuries. Bailey coming back into a formation that doesn't include wingers was always going to be a tough one.

Agree doesnt fit the pattern Gerrard wants to play.

A bit unlucky with his shot. You appreciate it more from the reverse angle. Lovely whip and pace on it. A Spuds defender was right in his face so you can see why he went for the quick option. Before we sell him for half of what we paid, it would be nice to give him half a dozen starts to show what he can do.

I don't get it.

He came with such a reputation but he looks no better than El Ghazi at the moment.

He's so far off the pace of the English game.

Been injured for a long period and only played a few games since. No idea if he’s decent or not yet.

On what we've seen so far, he isn't fit to lace El Ghazi's boots.

Makes me wonder what his game would have been like had Krul not tipped that shot onto the bar. Still, chalk him up as another winger we've signed that's about as robust as a crystal gearbox.
