He doesn’t like tracking back, does he? 😳

He's a lazy bastard on tonight's showing.  The Saints left back is having the time of his life.

Bailey has been awful. That last free kick summed up his night.

Skip pre season and players usually struggle. Fitness levels nowhere near good enough. Doesn't seem confident sprinting either, that turn of pace he showed v Everton seems a distant memory. You can see the quality touches but he is at nothing until he gets fitter.

He’s barely played and he’s in a team that’s a mess. Perhaps we shouldn’t leap to immediate judgement.

If he is not fit don’t play him.

Yes, he's not been fit since the start of the season. A very good player when fully fit.

Had a great 10 minutes so far in his Villa career.
Rubbish recently, but I’m hoping a new coach/manager and full fitness will help him.

Hardly busting a gut is he. Not taking to him. Enough said.

Looked like the new guy playing in a side totally devoid of confidence. Should have come off but then do you stick the kids in a side with no confidence? Our bench looked threadbare.

I'd have taken him off after 20 mins, his efforts to offer cover for Cash were a disgrace to be honest. Surprised Mings or McGinn didn't go for him to be honest.

Yes, disappointing.

We haven’t he’s a very talented player, look at his record. He’s barely played and he’s in a team that we can see is badly set up. I wouldn’t be leaping to judgement.

You're right, of course, but the situation is what it is and he is firing duds so shouldn't be in the starting XI. As we found out with Traore last season, the Premier league game requires all players to do a little of everything, and playing Bailey does not serve the team well right now.
We'd be better off playing Bidace wide left or right: at least we'd get some energy.
