Best of luck Leon. One sensational season and a smattering of moments. A good man.

Option. Oh well.

From what I gather, the option becomes an obligation once a set criteria (probably number of games) is met.

I hope he goes there and does well. Gets a fresh start. There was off field stuff (much of his own doing if you believe what has been written) that likely contributed to his dip in form. But he can be a very player. Good luck to him.

Now that Bailey's gone, we don't have a wide player that will stand on the touchline. Malen is the closest thing we have to it now, and even then, he drifts inside when without the ball.

We need width.

"Option" could mean many things.

It's entirely up to them to decide.
They've no choice - they have to pay it whatever happens.
They have to pay it if certain targets are met vis-vis performance.
This is the purchase price they're obliged to pay, but we have the option of accepting a higher bid from elsewhere , should one come in

Anyway hope he performs so well that AS Roma buy him next summer.

As the rhyme goes: When he was good, he was very very good. When he wasn't, he was ...  ...

Bailey rarely goes for the touchline, preferring to cut inside most times; drove me mad!

What's the obsession nowadays to have left footed wingers on the right side and right footed the other??
Means all they want to do is cut inside and if/when they do get to the byline the cross is inevitably crap because it's on the weaker foot.
This drives me mad.

I mostly liked him, he was a massive part of most of our best wins in the first eighteen months of Unaiball, including goals in a win at Arsenal, a long-awaited victory against Man City and the first home success against Man U since Nero bought his first box of matches.

Good luck, Leon.

Any player out wide would do for me right now after seeing our set up at the weekend.

Leon did okay when he went on his right. From the top of my head I remember him setting up McGinn v Arsenal, Ollie v Forest, Ramsey v someone, Dougie v someone else - remember the goals, not the opponents - both at the Witton end.

What's the off-field stuff?
