Hopefully just a precautionary thing then and he will be back after some rest.

When we play Everton at home I always remember LBs coming on against Everton for the 3-0 win And getting a goal and a assist.

Leon Bailey announces his arrival!

It's funny that was Cash first goal for club but less of a memory as just had lot of excitement seeing Bailey
Thank You Luca Digne scoring an OG from the corner by Bailey.

It's Maatsen's turn today.

No, I was referring to LBs coming on and getting a goal and an assist.

After reflecting on a great performance last night, i think the only real disappointment was Bailey's contribution. This season, he hasn't got going and it's reminiscent of his first year or so.

He had improved so much, that I'm hoping this is a blip dip in form.

Yep its not working for him at the minute but he's clearly not 100% fit. Similar to his first season, doesn't quite feel like he trusts his body at the moment

If he's that unfit, would he be getting game time?
I thinks it's just a really bad run of form as opposed to fitness surely?

Hopefully the last season version returns soon

When we sold Diaby my fear was the impact it might have on Bailey. He just looked like a completely transformed man last season compared to the previous two

Seems to be fitness to me. And at the tail end of last season.

I can’t remember the last time he used pace to go past defenders. I wonder if a hernia or something similar.

Emery still seems to rate even a half fit Bailey to cross, pass and shoot.

But clearly against Bayern just saw it wasn’t working and pulled him.

Last season he had been no better than par until after the defeat at Anfield - game 4 or 5, I think - where he was similarly hooked after having come on in the first half.

There's still hope!

He clearly looks to be carrying something. It was his knee at the end of the season, but whatever it is he needs to get sorted.

In an article about Philogene in The Athletic he says he was told he was starting earlier than the other lads as Bailey had picked up an injury in training.

He's clearly not fully fit but Emery seems to want to keep him involved.
