Wes still looks way off full fitness.
I mean he looks like he's running OK, he's going to need a lot more game time.

Steer made some important saves, he never looked a starter than you would have total confidence in.

Steer is a great 2nd keeper for me, not good enough to start in the top half of the league but a very decent backup. 3rd keeper is always a difficult one, generally you either have a kid who can still get games for the U23s or you get someone like Mark Bunn, I prefer the former.

He needs half a season out on loan, see if he can get fit and find some form. Davis looks a better player.

Until he gets into the box,  which is where we want him to be good.

It very much depends which country they come from...
Guilbert?
Giiilbert or Guilbert.
(Asking, as I don't know)
It's a hard G so it's like guilt or guild in English.

Rego always gets it wrong. His name would have to be Gilbert for his pronunciation to be correct.

It's as annoying as people saying Martínez with the emphasis on the first syllable. It's got an accent on the i for a reason and so is like 'Marteeneth' although some South American speakers would say 'Marteenes'.

As an aside, I've always wondered how to pronounce Bojan Krkic's first name.

His dad is Serbian, suggesting it's pronounced "Bow-Yan". But he is Spanish, so could be "Bow-Han". However,  he was born in Catalonia, so would it be "Bow-Zyan"?

Probably just as well then his surname's so easy to pronounce.

I understand how it's sounds in their language,  just not sure when do you stop pronouncing it in native,  to make it "english". Bruno Fernandes is one example. It will sound silly if English commentators start using the Portuguese version.

Thanks for clearing that up.

As a commentator I'd be an advocate of asking the player what they'd like to be called?!?!?

I think that happens in the Premier League.

Jermaine Jenas was one that springs to mind.

I wonder if Lloyd McGrath, should be McGrar like God or McGraff as is said.
