I'd be up for playing (if fit) Onana-Doug-Tielemans as the trio (with Tielemans furthest forward).

Yep
Agree, but there is likely to be an Onana shaped hole.

Think we will have to shove McGinn in next to Luiz to give us some legs and dynamism in there. Tielemans is starting on reputation only at the moment, try him at 10. Rogers on one side and TBC on other (whoever performs best v Spurs)! Maatsen has to come in for Digne too.
Dont agree about Tielemans at all. He was the only one calming everything down last night and retaining possession and breaking Forests mania.

I think your right about Dougie though, he’ll have to come in for Emi B next Thursday

I would agree, in the same position as well. I worry with Dougie further back that when he's not at top speed he's a bit of a liability for giving away needless fouls on dangerous areas, whereas further forward he can surely not be any more careless or wasteful than Buendia was last night, and he's pretty good timing runs onto the box.

He was a pleasant surprise earlier in the season, well deserving of his place. The last month or so though, it hasn't worked.

I'd love Emery to throw a Graham Fenton type curve ball in the second leg and give Harvey Elliot a game.

I’d be tempted to play him in front of Digne. As in, both of them down the left. God knows we struggle for pace.

Yes.

In terms of turning up and providing when he was most needed, probably our most important player of the season.

Not the best, but most important.

Shut up plenty of the doubters tonight. Provided the magic that set us on our way and was outstanding from the first minute. The player nobody wanted last summer, his performance tonight was a testament to his resilience and quality.

What a performance from the wee man. Won headers in our own box, gave them no time on the ball. The most technically brilliant player on the pitch. Calm and composed. Another  ten out of ten performance!

Love the little bugger, no one else at the club has his twinkle toes.

Mentioned this to my mate from Buenos Aires. He said that apparently Messi has "put him under his tutelage when they've met up at international training camps"!

An absolute enigma. Just when you’re 100% convinced he’s not good enough for us, he goes and throws a performance like that. Magnificent.

His lows are so low, but my God when he's at it he's capable of things very few other players are.

So happy for him tonight. Balls to step up and take the penalty and magic feet. Thank you Emi.

I've always liked him. Hopefully no question of him going anywhere this summer, except the World Cup.

What a guy. On many many metrics he’s not good enough yet he keeps bouncing back.

A modern day Tommy Johnson.
