Buendia was poor last night, along with pretty much everyone else. I still think when he's fit, he's one of the only players we have to find crucial passes - it's something we struggle with, overplaying in the final third. Buendia could be a different type of player for this, in the same way that Barkley offers us a different skillset.

I still think he could still be massive for us, if he can get his fitness back. If there's one manager in the world who can get him going it's Emery.

He leaps like a baby salmon. We don't have any other jumper as good as him.

Might be worth a run at cente half then as bar Mings the others seem to struggle with it.

I like Emi, but his issue is that barring another terrible injury crisis, he’s unlikely to get the consistent run of games he needs to benefit from the Emery effect.

Can see him off in January and replaced by someone like Álex Baena

We dont tend to do much business in jan unless we have a major injury crisis. I think summer is more likely

It’s easier to list the times we don’t have an injury crisis.

I like him too, but just don’t think he is standard of where we are now. But, needs more game time to see..

Don't mention jumpers - it triggers memories of Jean II Makoun.

I don’t see him being a pivotal part of the side, as was seemingly the plan when we paid his big fee. We’ve progressed since, he may or may not have regressed since. Still, he has a role to play coming off the bench, buzzing around for the final 20 mins if we are chasing games or trying to break a deadlock.

He crossed my mind too. It was a multi-coloured Argyle affair as I recall.

Emery hasn't used him for that much so far this season.

Don’t think he’s up to it. I’d sell him if we got an ok offer or loan him out till we got a decent offer.

He did the first part at Fulham, it's just that we we're winning.
