Buendia was poor last night, along with pretty much everyone else. I still think when he's fit, he's one of the only players we have to find crucial passes - it's something we struggle with, overplaying in the final third. Buendia could be a different type of player for this, in the same way that Barkley offers us a different skillset.

I still think he could still be massive for us, if he can get his fitness back. If there's one manager in the world who can get him going it's Emery.

I don’t see him being a pivotal part of the side, as was seemingly the plan when we paid his big fee. We’ve progressed since, he may or may not have regressed since. Still, he has a role to play coming off the bench, buzzing around for the final 20 mins if we are chasing games or trying to break a deadlock.

He crossed my mind too. It was a multi-coloured Argyle affair as I recall.

He did the first part at Fulham, it's just that we we're winning.
