I'm also in the Little Emi fan club. His defensive work rate as a forward is great (one of his key attributes when we signed him) and I'm sure we'll find some use of him.

We don’t have anyone else like him. While we have players adept at slowing things down and biding their time to a methodical plan, he’s the number 10 who’s a little ball of energy.

He plays quickly and aggressively, offering something different when we need to change tack. He’ll get minutes.

Just like people would have said about Tielemans or Digne last summer. One of Ramsey or Rogers being missing for a few games doesn't constitute an injury crisis.

Except I don't think anybody was saying that about Digne last season. I also haven't seen anybody say that however average the transfer window was, that we're short in midfield.
