Great to see. Must take time to make sure he is 100% ready and his strength in his leg is where it should be.

He was looking much better in pre-season last year. The fittest I had seen him. That's where he needs to get back to.

With Buendia and Mings it's all about making sure they can join in from the 1st day of pre-season training and get a full pre-season.

Hopefully Buendia and Mings will be back and at the level they were before the injuries. Wouldn't surprise me to see them in the team before Ramsey, to be honest.

I think we might see Buendia on the bench before the end of the season. The video on Insta is 3 weeks ago and the sort of exercises he's doing (specifically the bit with the little hurdles) are right towards the end of the rehab you'd be doing before contact work starts. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in full training videos very soon.

That would be great.  But it must be very hard for a player to get to peak match-playing fitness for just a couple of games when the season is about to end.  There must be a big temptation just to take your time to be ready for pre-season i would think.

Although Buendia is a lot of fun to watch and creative, Emi lacks the emotional control, temperament, and ball-keeping skills necessary to be a first choice of Emery.
He loses the ball far too frequently, especially giving opposition opportunity in transition.

I think it will take him too long to learn and to adjust his skills to fit into our football, thus I wouldn't see him being much use the next season and would rather have Rogers and that type of player who fits the profile over Buendia.

I wouldn’t leap to that conclusion Footy. Ollie and Bailey are evidence of how Emery can work with a player to improve their game. Buendia has all of the natural attributes required, and I think he has plenty of emotional intelligence control. He has plenty of potential for growth.

Also emi played a lot of football under emery before his injury so that's just utter garbage, as per usual

Of course, I'm not sure we'll see him play much but, a bit like Carlos last year, I can see Emery reintegrating him into the matchday squad even if he's unlikely to play.

That's a fair comment, and Emery would always be talking to him to control himself, but Buendia has quite a hot temper.
I just think he may struggle to adapt due to being so free-spirited in play and nature.
