He'd looked arguably the brightest player in pre season too

Less strong without Buendia, but we've still got the potential to play two entirely different squads between competitions. You can mix and match them other ways, and this is with Moreno and Ramsey back to full fitness. Could work Dendocker and Philogene in there somehow until then too.

Martinez    Olsen

Cash           Chambers
Konsa         Carlos
Mings         Torres
Digne          Moreno

Tielemans  Coutinho
Luiz              Kamara
McGinn        J Ramsey
Diaby           Bailey

Watkins       Archer

Mings               Torres
Moreno            Digne

McGinn             JPB

Dougie               Tielemans
JJ                       Coutinho

NFL player Sterling Shepherd did his ACL just sort of fast walking during a game. He wasn't even involved in the play at the time.

Good job we only need 14 players to win the league

Always knew MON was onto a good thing by never being arsed with training.

There are 3 major causes for an ACL tear:

A heavy blow to the side of the knee (or just below whilst you have a planted foot) - This is the Wesley version.
A sharp twist from turning whilst running or landing badly after a jump - This is the Heaton version.
A jarring of off-centre weight caused by over-stretching and falling-forward at the same time (think of stretching out with you foot and then having you heel catch and all your weight going forward through your knee as you fall over the front leg). - Not common in football.

I reckon in this case it's 50/50 between the first 2.

MON thought he was the new Brian Clough, who used to turn up at Training walking his dog and then just shout at them and tell them they were all rubbish

Then nip off and will win the European cup a couple of times which is where the big difference lies
