If there's any truth to this, we would probably at least delay the Aaron Ramsey deal if not cancel it altogether.
That’s a good point

Would we cancel? That deal is clearly a lot to do with FFP for a player that Emery has deemed not ready or suitable for whatever reason. If Buendia is crocked for the season, then I'd expect we'll be looking at more incomings and the Ramsey deal will only help that.

I remember one going round about Danny Ings doing similar which proved to be bollocks. Hopefully this is too.
And Grealish
And Delph
And Barry
And Benteke

Etc etc

These bollocks stories usually come out the day before a huge match.
I’m surprised they chose Buendia for this one rather than Diaby ?

Martinez is the one that would have biggest impact

Not saying its true/not (as dont know) but he was 100% in training photos yesterday. So seems a quick scan/outcome on any injury if the rumours were true

I haven't seen anyone trustworthy reporting it. I've had a text this morning and seen one person on twitter saying it. It's after 9am now, I think someone more authoritative would have started talking about it by now if there was something in it.

Theoretically he could have done it in training and the rumour is from an initial physio assessment.

We'll see, but I don't think a training photo is definitive evidence either way.

On a little Emi sidenote, I took a look at the Norwich forum today, as I still have a little soft spot for them. And there's still debate going on from some about Buendia joining us being a sideways step, and how he should have joined a club that is bigger than Norwich...

I can't think of a single metric where Norwich are bigger than Villa.  Well, other than incest that is.

Good point.  Incest, fingers and toes.  Anything else? Arable farms I'd guess?
