I know you're joking Monty, but Tielemans is no DM.  The only way we can really cover Kamara at the moment is by Douggie taking the more defensive role.  But yes, the squad depth allows us to do that easier than last season.

He was very good last night. He's never going to go a whole game without getting angry with someone though, is he?

Yeah, but I like that.

When I was a kid, I was never the biggest and we often played with older lads who thought they could just foul me. The lads who knew me knew I'd only take so much and then they were in for it when I snapped, but the ones who didn't soon learned too.

So I like that he has that streak in him, though attacking people and chasing them off the pitch is obviously not the way to go in the Prem, he can use that anger to drive him.

Was this part of your evolution to muskateer status?

Kamara is starting to worry me a little bit. He's a very good (potentially a great) player, but he keeps getting caught on the ball and it'll get punished.

Glad it happened though, I would rather things like that show themselves now and get them fixed before the season starts.

I’ve just been whatsapped a horrible rumour that he’s done his ACL.  I can’t see it anywhere but apparently it’s on twitter somewhere.  Hope to God it’s bs.

Just saw this on a Villa FB page too. Fingers crossed it's bollocks.

That's him this morning. Unless there was an afternoon session and it happened there?

I remember one going round about Danny Ings doing similar which proved to be bollocks. Hopefully this is too.

First rule of villa twitter rumours.

If it is a good rumour, it normally bollocks.

If it is a bad rumour, it’s normally true.

Bit sceptical with rumours that break on twitter at 1030pm at night if I'm honest.

Clearly this is a deep fake - Bailey isn't on the floor

If there's any truth to this, we would probably at least delay the Aaron Ramsey deal if not cancel it altogether.
