I don’t think he was that poor on Saturday either and is a useful player but not a £35 million player that’s the problem

His best football was at Norwich in the championship when they came up for that one season he went missing for a year which is a major concern then regained his form back in the championship for them
The coaching team will hopefully make him sharper and quicker in thought and we might get the player we were hoping we bought, I don’t think he will be a outright dismal failure like say N’zogbia McCormack Hutton

But whether he will live up to his pricetag remains to be seen but he will be given every chance I’m sure

The year they came up only De Bruyne and Grealish made more chances than him.

And the issue is that he's being compared with the latter.

Jesus lets give the guy a break and time to settle in. His fee will be a huge weight to bare and has not had an easy start.

SG will know what a jewel he has (very much reminds me of Coutinhio) so a way to utilise his ability is what is required

Emi Buendia is making an average of 2.78 tackles per 90 this season, putting him in the top 1% of attacking midfielders and wingers in the Premier League this season

Is that after he's been muscled off the ball and is trying to win it back ?!

I didn’t know that
I was just going from what Norwich fans had said and goals scored

But fair enough that’s a good stat
I’m not comparing him to Grealish he’ll never be as good as him
But for the money he we paid I want him to be one of the best players in our team
Your stat proves that he can do it in the prem so that’s good

Grealish had unbelievable control though, and was no slouch when he got going. He was entirely impossible to dispossess fairly as well, meaning he never lost possession by being tackled or knocked off the ball. The absolute polar opposite of Buendia in that regard.

I really hope Buendia makes it, I just don't think he will.

Buendia could do with watching some clips of how Grealish protects the ball. It isn't as if Buendia is too light, if anything he seems to be carrying a bit of timber. Get his arse down low, protect the ball and draw the foul if needs be.

Good contribution to goal. Hopefully will give him the confidence to kick on.

Great impact today. As well as his involvement in the goal he showed some other sharp bits of play and some great energy.

Brief cameo but looked a bit sharper, dwelling on the ball less, much more like it.

He creates chances and takes risks which sometimes don’t pay off. I think he’ll be just fine

A few games in his proper position and I think he'll be a bit better. Still looking like a bit of a rip off though.
