Jigsaw piece number 1, good business Villa. Onwards…..

In reality I’m fucking excited about this, a little bit of wee has come out.

Why are Norwich selling him?

Think it's the model they've adopted.  Go up, take the money and go back down.  Repeat.

5th in the championship last season for tackles made, so it appears he works hard off the ball too.

Plus he wants to play for the most beautifully named football club in the world.

Arsenal fans losing their shit all over social media.

Spencer Morgan, son of that c**t Piers:

We’ve been beaten to a signing by Aston Villa. This club is finished. Embarrassment FC

Surely the embarrassment of being beaten to the signing of a footballer is dwarfed by the embarrassment  of being the son of Piers Morgan.

Bit disappointed if I’m honest, I mean, he’s with the Argentine National team and there’s that little fella that’s quite handy and we haven’t signed him yet.

I think Chilwell likes the Villa.

Isn't Chilwell Grealish's best mate?

Im not sure about this one, mainly because ive payed little attention to him really but looking at the Norwich forum they seem to think he's better than Maddison and we have gotten an absolute bargain. Welcome Emi.

I've seen one comment on non-Villa twitter that we've bagged a £100m player for £30m.

It's one thing laughing at the salty Arsenal twats on the internet, but fuck me, check out the Norwich fans.

For years they've been my absolute least favourite small, yo-yo club delusional ****** who think they're Bayern Munich when they occasionally get promoted. Some of the stuff coming from them this evening is laughable.

What a bunch of risible, bitter wurzels.

And the embarrassment of being beaten by little Villa in the last 3 league meetings with them.

They'd got a £30m hole in their finances because of COVID. Presumably they've figured by selling one of Aarons, Cantwell, and Buendia they can keep the other 2, and won't be financially screwed. Which to me seems fair enough, we'd be doing the same if our owners weren't minted.

Which is why I think this summer we could really push ourselves a rung or 2 higher up the ladder .. we can still spend £100m or so this summer, but there's probably only 3 other clubs in the world (Man City, Chelsea, PSG) who are in a similar position.
