What a refreshing change in that any one of Martínez, Konsa, Targett, Grealish or Watkins are a worthy winner. Remember the season Stephen Ireland got it?! And the year we went down...didn't the club even declare such an accolade null and void?!

Anyway, even playing only 66.666% of the time, Jack is an absolute demon and we'd be burning in the fiery furnaces without him.

Young player probably has to be JJ Ramsey given his ascent to the first team. But Louie Barry's FA Cup goal will live long in the memory and if young Carney/Chucky can win us the Youth Cup and get a first team debut before the end of the season, it would be churlish not to award it to him.

Grealish picks up my solo award because he's Grealish and he's brilliant, committed, brilliant, and oh so brilliant. "The Back Five" win the group award, best unit we've had in yonks. My moment of the season has to be Barry, though. His goal kicked up some dust in our house, I don't mind telling you.

Louie Barry has to be goal of the season.

I think someone has sausage fingers. That’s the only justification.

It's nice to have some serious competition here for a change! Strong case for Watkins and Grealish but it has to go to our wonderful 'keeper Emi Martinez.

15 clean sheets is phenomenal. That gives you a serious platform to go and win games.

Matt Targett take a bow.

Only player to have played every minute so far this season. Disciplined, solid defensively, threat going forward and a fantastic attitude.

In the face of adversity, proved most of us wrong. Not many do that!!

Honourable mentions to Emi, Jack, Ezri and Ollie.  :)
Spot on.

I’ve gone for Martinez. Those 15 clean sheets are worth 15 pts minimum. Probably more. Some very worthy competition. Grealish obviously. The back four have been mostly very good and it would be harsh on the other 3 to single one out for special praise. Ollie up front alone grafting tirelessly and his goals have also helped us massively. But I think your GK spot is the most important position in the side and we’ve got one of the best in the business. He’s probably quadrupled in terms of his transfer value this season. Top fella as well. Player of the season.

Without any doubt Emi Martinez.

Dare I say it, I think we may have one of the best keepers in the World?

I think one of Martinez, Konsa or Grealish will rightly get the award.

But for me, it’s Matt Targett. A huge improvement on last year, I’ve lost count of the crosses he constantly blocks. Excellent attitude, he’s progressing into a really good player.

I find the fact that Luke Shaw is rated better than Matt laughable really.

Voted for Grealish, but Martinez has been great and I think Konsa is my favourite player.

Also give a shout out to Targett, who I think is our most improved player.

Jack is a world class player who, had he been fit for the last few months, I'm convinced we'd be at least top 6.  Easily our player of the season.

Martinez has also been outstanding, as have Watkins, Konsa and (at times) Mings and Cash.  Special mention for Matt Targett who I thought was shite, but is actually a very fine full back.  Well done to him.

Keep those players and add a few at least as good and we will challenge next year.
