I just had a look on the Everton forum at their match thread, they're livid because we're battering them.

They'll win 3-1, too many missed opportunities.

And they hate us anyway.

BBC has Everton with 52% of the play. I am obviously watching a different match.

I think it's misleading because our possession has had an attacking threat, and for the most part theirs hasn't.

We’ll need to match any change Ancelotti makes.

I've never understood why that is.

An interesting challenge for Dean - make no mistake, Ancellotti is a top, top manager.  We've had the better of them so far, but can we respond to whatever changes he makes in the second half (because he will change something).

The Arsenal game away was like that, they spent an age going nowhere whilst we cut through them with three passes and the stats were something like 60-40 them.

Similar size clubs and history yet they’ve always thought they were superior to us - and we were a bogey side for them for many years in the 90s and early 2000s.

Ross Barkley has totally won me over by taking corners with the ball in the quadrant

He’s dead to me now.

Barkley getting better and better as the game goes on.
Which begs the question, why so poor for so long before this?

Big Ross looking better tonight. He needs a goal and he’ll be back for the Balloon Door.

There is no doubt if Jack was on the pitch we’d be hammering these

Some stupid passing this half, can't be just giving them the ball 30 yards out as they'll punish us.
