When league places are worth millions you pick your best team every game. You tinker in cup games and on dead rubbers

This certainly is not a dead rubber.

I certainly would give Davis longer but not done anywhere near enough to start and change our entire shape

Being angry at Smith for not playing 4-4-2 is like being angry at cheese for not being marmalade.

Why change a winning formula? Oh wait...

I'm bored to death of this now to be honest.

And yet he's started Barkley again.

Would really like to see some of the really good kids getting a run out but there you go, hopefully an exciting 3-3 with really open footy.

I would love our shape to change - we have been crap most 0f 2021.

Not starting Davis is inexcusable.

We will not be relegated and Ross Barkley is a joke of a footballer.

This is the ideal time to start Davis.

I’m sorry but Dean Smith is not doing himself any favours.

A generous description of Barkley against the baggies would be either adequate or better than last few games not “good” or “played well” by any stretch of imagination.

Yes, taken aback by the support for Barkley.

So with a week of planning after that abysmal display against Sandwell, we bottle it and stick with the same lineup?  So disappointing.

Dean’s hoping he’s got a point to prove against Everton as I can see no other reason for his inclusion.
