Aston Villa: Martínez; Cash, Konsa, Mings (C), Targett; Douglas Luiz, McGinn; Traoré, Barkley, El Ghazi; Watkins.

Substitutes: Heaton, Elmohamady, Hause, Taylor, Nakamba, J. Ramsey, Philogene-Bidace, Davis, Wesley.

What a suprise. Once again doesn't pick Davis. Fuck me Dean

Same old same old. Increasingly worried he’s a one trick pony

F**king hell, Smith!! That selection has really pissed me off.
Use the time to try something just a little bit different!

Smith doesn’t know any other formation. He’s the Christian Gross of the new millennium.

In his defence we did play very well. I enjoyed the last game.

Barkley? So disappointing.

No issue with Barkley. He was fine last week and it is against his former club. The insistence on the same system week after week after week is what drives me insane. David deserves a chance to start. He is high in confidence so what do we have to lose? Nothing. And I would have liked to have seen Chukwuemeka on the bench too as opposed to Taylor or Elmo.

What is the point of that? Barkley again, Davis on the bench, no Carney anywhere.
